On Sunday April 8th, 2019 family, friends, industry peers, and press all gathered to celebrate Shomari Love’s debut in The Chi Season 2 premiere!

Shomari Love is an actor representing Queens, NY; with a Bachelors of Arts degree from Seton Hall University. Previously, Shomari has been in popular television shows like The CW’s “Black Lightening” and Daytime Emmy-Nominated Web Series, “Tough Love”.
Shomari will be co-starring in the latest season of The Chi as the role of “Bilal”. Although, Shomari’s character “Bilal” remains a mystery in relation to the rest of the cast. His character is certainly going to shake things up this season. Shomari’s introduction to The Chi is both unforgettable and unpredictable. His talent is absolutely undeniable, as gasps could be heard from across the room as his scene closed out the Season 2 Premiere episode of The Chi.
Shomari’s career will certainly reach new heights as audiences tune in every Sunday to watch The Chi. The magnitude of his impact will be made clear by the end of Season 2, as he is in great company amongst a star studded cast, executive produced by Lena Waithe. It is without a doubt that Shomari Love will be a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.
